The city will adopt a right-tree-right-place standard to reduce sidewalk conflicts and long-term maintenance. A volunteer stewardship program will match blocks with watering kits and training, and a stormwater fee credit will reward property owners who host public-facing tree pits. Public dashboards will map planting sites, survival rates, and canopy expansion over time. Contracts will include a three-year establishment guarantee so failure rates remain low and long-term costs are predictable.
