How this page works
Quick tour (what to do)
  1. Pick a fiscal year (the budget period).
  2. In Pending, each card is a proposal. Vote on the left; read on the right.
  3. Click a proposal title to see full details.
  4. The number in the middle is the score (yes votes minus no votes).
  5. The tiny bar shows the approval % (how many votes are “yes”).
  6. Use “Next” and “Prev” at the bottom to see more. Pending shows 2 per page.

Sections on this page
  • Pending: New proposals that still need votes. (Paginated: 2 per page.)
  • Approved & Allocated: Proposals that passed. “Allocated” means money has been set aside. (Paginated: 10 per page.)
  • KPI cards: Big picture numbers. Click to open the side panel for:
    • Income — money coming in.
    • Disbursements — money assigned to proposals (approved/allocated).
    • Expenses — money actually spent.

Plain-English terms
Requested amount
How much money this proposal is asking for.
Score
Yes votes minus no votes. Positive = more support.
Approval %
What share of votes are “yes”. 60% means most people approve.
Pending
Still open for voting.
Approved
Voters said yes. It’s allowed to proceed.
Allocated
Money has been set aside for this approved proposal.
Rejected
Did not pass a vote.

How voting works
  • Click Approve or Reject.
  • Your choice updates the score and approval % right away.
  • You can change your vote while a proposal is Pending.
  • Voting does not spend money by itself; it decides what can be funded.

Reading a proposal card
  • Left column: the voting buttons, the score, and the approval bar.
  • Right column: title, short description (use “View more”), requested amount, and status.
  • Click the title to open full details in a panel or modal.

Common questions
What’s a fiscal year?
A 12-month accounting period we use for the budget (often July–June). Numbers are grouped by fiscal year.
Where do the funds come from?
From Income (taxes, grants, etc.). Approved items then get allocated, and later become expenses when paid.
Why only 2 per page in Pending?
So you can focus. Use the Next/Prev buttons to see the rest.
What if I don’t understand an item?
Open the full description and look for goals, cost, and who benefits. If still unsure, ask in the discussion or skip that item.

Tips
  • Compare the requested amount to total income shown in the KPI cards.
  • High approval % + clear impact usually means strong support.
  • Use the fiscal year switcher to view past decisions.
