The Surf Riders Association is a community dedicated to preserving our coastlines and fostering a safe, respectful surfing environment. We coordinate regular beach cleanups, promote ocean safety education, and advocate for equitable shoreline access. Our mission is to protect the beaches and waters we love while supporting the people who use them.

This handbook sets clear expectations for all memberswhether youre a seasoned local or a first-time visitor. Inside, youll find guidance on lineup etiquette to keep the waves flowing smoothly, safety gear standards to protect yourself and others, and wildlife respect protocols to ensure harmony with marine life.

We share event schedules for beach cleanups, first-aid and rescue trainings, and citizen-science days where members can contribute to environmental research. Youll also learn about hazard flag meanings, storm and lightning cutoffs, and shark or other wildlife proceduresso you know exactly when its time to leave the water.

Our rules outline board and leash requirements, theft prevention tips for parking areas, and trip-pooling practices to reduce environmental impact. Everything is designed to keep surfing safe, fun, and sustainablewhile protecting the places we love for future generations.
